Federal Interior Minister, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao on Friday reiterated the firm resolve of the government to eliminate extremism and terrorism from the country. "We will not allow militancy and terrorism on our soil at any cost," Sherpao said during a meeting with Datuk Ton Chai, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Government of Malaysia who called on him with his delegation. The meeting discussed matters of bilateral concern especially terrorism and human trafficking as well as labour and manpower issues.

Sherpao briefed the delegation about Pakistan's war on terrorism and successes made so far on this front. The visiting Deputy Minister was also apprised of strict vigilance and security system. Malaysian delegation appreciated the role of Pakistan in the war against terrorism.

Malaysian Deputy Minister assured that Pakistan had been placed on the list for human source especially in two sectors, manufacturing and construction. He said these sectors were open for Pakistanis and they should come to Malaysia after completing all casual formalities. Director General Home Affairs of Malaysia would soon visit

Pakistan to discuss the modalities with Pakistani counterparts, he told.

It was agreed that two governments will work closely and co-operation level in different areas will be enhanced. Sherpao thanked the delegation and expressed hope that exchange of visits will help exchange information and provide opportunities of experience sharing.
